Food and Happiness. Alimentación y Felicidad

There is no doubt that in Europe food is a pleasure. Who does not enjoyed every meal everyday?? Eating is not only sth we have to do to survive, it is sth we make us happy. You cooked something last night and you bring it for lunch at work, preety usual right?? also, you think about your fantastic lunch several times that morning and then it is lunch time and you really fancy your meal. So typical... it is a pleasure not only cos of the meal but also it is due to the lunch moment, the conversation with folks, the coffee you take at the end..., it is probably one of the moments you really enjoy at work (of course you love your job, but you need a break). The conclusion I get is that food and the event surrounding the event makes me feel good.
But, are we making our food happy?? I mean, are our poultry, cows, porks... happy? Some years ago we use to bring them up more naturally, in freedom, without cages, without so much antibiotics, hormons..., we used to feed them with natural stuff like grain, grass... I really think they were happier than now and the most important healthier. "you are what you eat" I've heard this so many times. And it is truth. It has been scientifically demonstrated that some of the antibiotics or hormons we feed them, we end up eating them. A particular case is the clembuterol (officially forbiden in Europe but still allowed in the States). Clembuterol makes beef put on weight, retaining liquids in the muscles. Unfortunatelly not only beefs put on weight with it, but also does people. Another case are the antibiotics. Doctors are detecting from many years ago that we are becoming resistant to many antibiotics and when we really need them, they dont work.
Source: www.elpais.com
All of that homones, antibiotics, and other garbage in the meat isn't very good for people. It turns out that the hormones in the meat cause estrogen levels to rise in people who eat it. Even though the EU won't allow it, the USDA insists that the rise in hormone levels is safe. Especially for children.
Many doctors maintain that things like elevated levels of oestradiol, a powerful sex hormone, in your beef can cause all sorts of problems, such as the increased levels of cancers in the prostate, breast, and ovaries. Incidence of these diseases have been rising since the 1950s as beef consumption, heart disease, and obesity have all skyrocketed.
We are growing up our poultry in 40cmX40cm cages, they can not move. we have our cows in feedlots, and in most of the cases, they even can not move. They eat, they shit and they drink in the same place. They are kinda reactors, we put an organic input (even rests of other animals!) and we obtain a waste (concentrated purins) and an acummulation factor ("meat"). Do you really think this meat is gonna be as delicious as meat from a Non cage chicken?? and healthier?? and what about their lives?? Are we so superior that we dont have to care about animals? Are we animals?? Who is becoming rich with this bussiness??? what do we win, just cheapest meat???

Maybe we forgot we are animals, we are part of the environment and we should care about it. It is not weird that things like Creutzfeldt-Jakob illness happen.
Lets make them "happier" and we also will be for sure.

How can I reset?? Any advice???

100% Hillary (ready for her??)

Are we ready for her?? Are we ready for another republican?? are we waiting for Obama's change?? Are there significative differences?? will US citizens have an Universal Health care System ever?? Do they want it??
So many questions arising...
From time to time we can laugh at them, at least.

Chill out time

My eyes burn naked,
my black cold numbers,
my insecurities,
my devious nature,
make it go away...

Hope u like it.

the way i are

I ain't got no money
I ain't got no car to take you on a date
I can't even buy you flowers
But together we be the perfect soulmates
Talk to me girl

[Bridge - Keri Hilson]
(Oh) Baby, it's alright now, you ain't gotta flaunt for me
If we go and touch, you can still touch my love, it's free
We can work without the perks just you and me
Thug it out 'til we get it right

[Chorus] - Keri Hilson & (D.O.E)
Baby if you strip, you can get a tip
'Cause I like you just the way you are
(I'm about to strip and I want it quick
Can you handle me the way I are?)
I don't need the cheese or the car keys
Boy I like you just the way you are
Let me see ya strip, you can get a tip
'Cause I like, I like, I like...

[Verse 2 - Timbaland]
I ain't got no Visa
I ain't got no Red American Express
We can't go nowhere exotic
It don't matter 'cause I'm the one that loves you best
Talk to me girl

[Bridge 2 - Keri Hilson]
Oh, baby, it's alright now, you ain't gotta floss for me
If we go and touch, you can still touch my love, it's free
We can work without the perks just you and me
Thug it out 'til we get it right

[Chorus] - Keri Hilson & (D.O.E)
Baby if you strip, you can get a tip
'Cause I like you just the way you are
(I'm about to strip and I want it quick

Can you handle me the way I are?)
I don't need the cheese or the car keys
Boy I like you just the way you are
Let me see ya strip, you can get a tip
'Cause I like you just the way you are

[Verse 3 - D.O.E.]
Baby girl, I don't got a huge ol' house I rent a room in a house
Listen baby girl, I ain't got a motorboat but I can float ya boat
So listen baby girl, once you get a dose of D.O.E. you gon' want some mo'
So listen baby girl, when I make it I want you there, want you there, want you there, yeah

Your body ain't Pamela Anderson,
Its a struggle just to get you in the caravan,
But listen baby girl,
Before I let you lose a pound I'll buy a bigger car,
So listen baby girl,
I love you just the way you are, the way you are

[Bridge 2 - Keri Hilson]
Oh, baby, it's alright now, you ain't gotta floss for me
If we go and touch, you can still touch my love, it's free
We can work without the perks just you and me

Mexico Lindo V, the Final episode!

16/3 Isla Mujeres
After getting up at 8 (as we said), we headed out to Cancún again! The hostel we had book sucked (Hostel mirage) so we decided to go to another one, really close to Mirage. Mirage did not have even a lock door!!!
We (SP+C) took a ferry to Isla mujeres. In the ferry we saw a little dog, ay la perreta, piticli piticli, que bonita la perreta!!! me LOL. We were offered to take a tour (including snorkeling...) and we took it (in spite of my desperateness about the money, I did not have any dollar left, fortunately Cris took some money from the ATM). we spent the day snorkeling around the corals, AWESOME.
Last night, we should have some tequilas!!! we went to Las Campanas again (this time only SP+C). We had the famous tacos al pastor (Jonathan's suggestion).
OMG, it is 1:30 and our bus to the airport is at 5:30. Lets go to sleep??? NOOO WAY, HELL NO!
C and Laure went to sleep for a while but we went to the clubs! Awesome night, including the three girls from Argentina (was nice to dance with them).
5am, lets wake up the girls!!!! Singing: oooouuuuu, lets go lets go, esa morena esta muy rica y tiene tremendo culoooo, low low low.
this is the video of the song Crank dat (soulja boy). it says now, watch me you... OUUUU. I was singing: "im warning uuuu, we are in cancún, were living now... ouuuuu. LOL.
this is the perreo song trendy right now (together with low, low low)
We also were singing the song "anoche me hinché" (paranoica gonzalez). Total LOL ever.
LOL total. Jesus sing this song in the funniest way ever! Guillaume (at the very begining not singing) ended up singing with us, ouuuu, ouuuu.
We were so tired that place we found, place we ended up slepping on. Bus, airport..
Jesus heard in the starbucks (in spanish) "a base de crema o a base de cafe?" and obsessed with "anoche me hinché" started singing this song with "a base de café" Hilariously LOL.
Once in the customs, Mery was talking so loud that the guy in charge on controlling everything (making the picture, ask you questions about why and where and for how long, lets say the one can refuse you) tell her to STFU (Shut the fuck up). After 5 seconds she was talking aloud again!!! J and I tell her "Hey, seriously, STFU".
G, C and I took the fligh at 2.35 (others sooner than that) and Remi (BFFE) picked us up at the airport.
To sum up: incredible trip, awesome people, sick pack forever and ever, I hope to meet them again in BCN!! or wherever.
sentences forever:
"oye chimooo, un abrazo" or the derived, "emilio, un abrazooo"
"seriously u guys, u guys seriously"
"anoche me hinché" or "a base de café" "mis drogas mi ropa mi toooodo!"
"GCA" you know. just call her.
"Jamal a jamal"
"tigreeeee"
"whatever i can get" or the derived "Lolever I can get"
"me LOL, Virgin of LOL, ..."
"what are you saying, what are you saying" in the quick&fast guillaume's way.
"nom nom nom"
Guys, if i am forgeting something you want to point out, just let me know.

Mexico Lindo IV, compilation

13/3
Cobá's day (sick pack w/Crist)
After having breakfast in our hotel and stroll around Valladolid for a while (including the visit to the market of the city, real méxico) we headed out to Cobá. Cobá has the last pyramid where you can climb up in Maya's region. It is said to be pretty awesome.
We arrive to Cobá really hangry so we decided to eat something in a crowded restaurant. Laure, who has a really good eye, visualized a group of Catalans. They had a buffet and nobody was checking anything. Why not??? yeah definitely, lets join them, juasjuas.
We finally did it (and then we join them, jeje), and we ended up only paying the drinks. The guy ask me if we were from the group. "Oh yeah, of course" I said. And we ate for 1 dollar. I thought that only spanish people can do this type of things, but not, it turns out that French tooooo!!!!! Awesome.
Discretely we left the restaurant before the Catalans did and we visited the ruins. 2km walking and 42m height. The landscape was so goood!.
After eating some fresh-warm fruits, we headed out to Playa del Carmen. Once we got there, I had a terrible headache and a bad feeling. I knew it, I got it. First round for me! When I arrive to he hostel "COLORES MEXICANOS", a little bit sketchy and crippy, I blowed chunks so terribly. It was only once but I think the longest ever and ever (I am sorry if it is TMI).
Without thinking too much I took G's medicing (antibiotic). Even though I spent the night tossing and turning, the next day I was going to feel much better.
14/3
I fell weak and still with stomachache. We went on a promenade in Playa del Carmen main turist street (lets say las ramblas de pcarmen). After having lunch (fish and rice... you know) I took a reconstructive nap in Playa Mamitas. It was so good. When I woke up, I was another person, I fell so good!!
The guy from the hotel told us in the morning that we had to pay that day so we decided to come back early to pay him. The others (TO ahead) did not show up on time and the guy was so ungry that we paid the anger. Asshole (in spite of I know that he was right). He talked to us in a mad/bad manner, asshole!
We were also waiting for them to have dinner wherever. Finally they arrived like 2-3 h later and they already had dinner!!! I dont really mind but I understand some people was not so happy about all of that. Anyway it was not such a big deal.
We went to have dinner (sickpack+c= SP+C ahead). We were joking saying Laure was the next one barfing!!! juas juas. We were supossed to meet the others at 12 and at 12:30 they had not showed up! WHATEVER.
15/3 Tulum's day
"OMG, it is late, we overslept!" we said in the morning. Why?? G was going to give as the news in few moments. !LAURE WAS ALSO SICK!!! We knew it! Since she was like in charge of waking us up in the morning... it was late.
we (SP) headed out to Tulum by bus. Really nice ruins and beach. OMG. we had so much fun. Jesus is so funny. Big moment Jesus says to two asiatic girls "nom nom nom" with a deep voice. It was hilarious ( I know that is not now, but it was). This was going to be another of our sentences.
I bought ELPAIS, an imprimed version for only 4$!!!! Assholes! But it was totally worthy. I enjoyed it so much, in the bus, in the beach. I really love to read ELPAIS chilling out in the beach. I should do that more often in BCN.
We went to COCOmaya, a pub in the beach. Impressive. SO good, two ambients. One for Americans (perreo perreo) and another one more european (house music...). The later one in the beach with kind of beds were you can chill out drinking, having a good conversation... GOOOOD
We met TO in the hostel late in the evening. Kind of tense between Mery and Jesus but not big deal. She told me that if I had any doubt about the schedule, I had to go call Ana (Youknowacronims right?). Hilarious, come on, I am not going to call Ana just because you order to me to do it (even pointing with a finger!!). I just made a joke pretending like to call ana simulating my hand was a cell phone. Jesus was laughing so much. After that, G, J and I were laughing our heads off in the room. OMG, GCA NOW.
Great!!!

Mexico Lindo III

12/3 Chichén Itza
Hoy vamos a Chichén itzá!!!!
